Until today, I secretly loved the Surface Duo! That’s not to say I don’t still love it, it just isn’t a secret anymore.

I think this is one of the greatest folio concepts seen so far, I think it deserved better press coverage, I think it deserved more favourable reviews, I think the earliest version were problematic but Microsoft addressed those bugs and it became a better phone, it deserved more time in the sunshine.

Productivity device versus a Content Consumption device

Yeah, Microsoft got some things wrong, I think the camera was the biggest mistake, but if you step back and consider this as a Productivity device versus a Content Consumption device, then there nothing is in the market that could touch it.

The Surface Duo 2 was even better, though I personally like the fact that the original Duo doesn’t have a camera worth using because it helps me find a place for this device, it can’t replace my daily device (actually I never tried to use it as a daily device) but it is a very competent secondary device!

This is different material for me, I’m not installing Linux, I’m not saving it, today, I’m simply enjoying what productivity time it has remaining.
