I moved this video here as the first video for my new channel, it doesn’t really have a connection to the rest of the content to be honest, it was just where I started with this channels content. Technically this is a repost, I posted this on a personal channel back in 2020, but I’ve since lost access to that original material, so I’m uploading it again for the memories.

This machine isn’t really available anymore, the computer specs are a little dated, things move fast in computer time. But I would say that this machine has stood up very well and I would definitely recommend a Windows machine from the people at CyberPower UK.

The ordering service was easy enough, the delivery was a little late, but it was a challenging time (2020 was one of those unusual years right). When it arrived, it was packaged well, it included loads of little extra bits, like blanking plats from the case, basically as if I’d built it myself.

Now, when my other content starts to appear on this channel, you might ask why I didn’t just build it myself, well it was twofold;

(1) 2020 was a bit odd and getting hold of anything was difficult at times, I really didn’t want to end up with 90% of a custom PC and be stuck waiting for a few months before being able to finish it.

(2) I actually needed something that could run a certain graphical program for work, we used to look at the 3d models when in meetings etc to make sure we all understood the challenges, and this spec ticked all all the requirements for that application, so it was easier to justify at the time.
